Why Run?

Inspired Thoughts: They crucified him, (JESUS). Mark 15:15 says, And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
....Without the (Blood of Jesus) that Jesus so freely gave to us on (Calvary's Cross) we would not have the promise of eternal life, where we will live "Freely with Him" FOREVER.... + "Thank-God" 4/Heaven.... ( :

Why Run?
....My first thought would be = Why Not? There are so many great reasons to run. Who wants to stay on the "Couch" day in and day out watching TV and never getting any exercise = Not Me.... +
....Running can do so many things for you physically like keeping you on the road to a healthy life, strengthening your heart, and if nothing else giving you the fit-body you've always wanted = hehe. ( :
....But though these reasons are great it is still not my favorite reason for stepping out the door and running. My most favorite reason is the time I get to myself. Running takes me away from the things in life I have to deal with every day. Plus it doesn't have to be a 20-miler to make me feel good about what I've just ran.... +
....Even with a 5-mile run I have plenty of time to talk to God about certain things in my life, and many times when I'm out running God talks to me and I actually have time to listen. You know how that goes and it's a very sad thing, but many Christians never spend quality time with God. When they do, however, they are in such a rush with it God speaks sometimes, but they never hear what he is saying.... +
....Running is my time. Since my wife or son doesn't like to run that is something I can do alone, and personally I think everyone needs their alone time. Whether you run, bike, swim, or something of that sort I'm sure you will get more benefits from it than not.

It's always been God, Jesus, & the Holy Ghost. Even when I ran track @ Richlands back in the day they always gave me the strength I needed to run.
.... 1) Tracy Jacobs was my inspiration to start running "High School Track". She's my oldest Sister that ran the Mile & Mile Relay for the team, and then graduated with honors from Richlands High School in 1978. Wow! What an inspiration.... +
....2) My family = My Mom, Dad, and youngest Sister Carla inspired my wife and I to start walking on August 1, 1994 only 1-day after we had moved there from Lenoir, North Carolina where I met my beautiful wife Roxie.... ( :
....3) After it got cold and my family including my wife quit walking it was my ole buddy George Brown that inspired me to start running again. With that first run that made laps around the Richlands High School, and a new pair of Nike Wind Runners Mr. Brown gave me the following day I've enjoyed a life of running.... +

Running changed my life and through the years I've met many wonderful people such as Jimmy Miller, Mike & Prescilla Cooper, Earl & Millie Keene, Larry Meadows, Rick Ferril, Brad Robinson, Larry Whited, "Nick, Allen & Sandra Whited", Paul Bishop, Bill & Bob Gibson = "The Running Twins", Hank Brown, Terry Campbell, Jimmy Pruitt, Roger Poe, and so many more. If I named them all it would take all night, but I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say. (There are so many great reasons to run - I must keep going).

Inspired "Running" Thoughts: I've had everything it seems like come against my will to run lately. The recent thing is my "Ole-Back" but I'm not giving up just yet. Maybe I need to focus more on running in general for now, and not so much on a "Running-Streak". I know it's possible, but if I can't run 3 or4 days a week I certainly can't run 7-days.... +
....(As soon as my "Ole-Back" gets better I plan to start again). This past week I've barely been able to walk, but because God is still in control he has the final say what I do or don't do.... ( :
....And I already know what God's answer is = RUN.... +

PRAYER:
....If you pray please throw up one for me, okay. I will do the same for you too. I pray for everyone in the world because even though I may not know who they are God does.
....1) God please bless the (Unsaved) that they can see the need in their life to get saved, and give their heart to Jesus.... +
....2) God please bless the (Sick) that they can be healed.... ( :
....3) God please bless the (Saved) that they can with the strength you give them each to day to live holy stay saved.... +
